There are various content elements in the Editor that allow you to decide which colors you want to use for them. In the following, you will find further information and tips on the basic functions of the color settings. Wherever you see this element, you can pick an individual color:
Simply select it to open the color settings:
- Select your desired color in the sidebar and choose the exact shade from the color palette .
- Instead, you can also select one of the predefined colors . These always include the basic colors black and white. Here you can also find the currently selected website colors.
- To select an exact color, you can also enter a hex color code (e.g. #FFFFFF for white) in the input field . The hex code of the currently selected color will always be displayed in this field. To use the same color in other parts of your design, simply copy the hex code and paste it in the respective place.
Info
If you want to use a specific color for your website, you can use a color picker to identify the corresponding hex code. This way you can quickly select the exact shade. Color pickers are available for free on various websites and as extensions for the most popular browsers. - Note that the Reset link will restore the default color of your theme, not the color you may have previously selected . If you would like to keep the color that was selected when you started editing, you need to cancel the process.
