Share your products on Social Media

Sharing your products on Social Media channels such as Facebook, Pinterest or Instagram can help you broaden your reach and increase the visibility of your products as well as your business.

By default, social sharing is activated on your website. This way, you and your visitors can easily share product links on different channels.

How to share a product on Social Media

1. In the sidebar of your cockpit, navigate to Products.
2. From the Product overview, select the product you would like to share.

   Note

   You can only share published products. If a product is still in draft state, you’ll need to publish it before you can share it.
3. In the top bar of your cockpit, select Open product view.

   Caution

   If your website is not live yet, you will see Open product preview in the top bar of your cockpit. Before sharing a product, you should set your website to live, otherwise people who follow the link will not be able to see it.
4. Select Share next to the Add to basket button.
   A dropdown menu opens.
5. Select the Social Media channel where you want to share the product or select Copy link to copy the product link to the your clipboard. If you select a channel, a the sharing page of the selected channel opens in a new tab (you might need to log in first). Depending on the channel, you can add text or other information before sharing your product in the channel.

How to disable Social sharing

Note

You can only disable or enable Social sharing for all of your products.

By default, the Share option is enabled for all products on your website. If you do not want to allow your visitors to share your products on Social Media, you can also disable Social sharing. Here’s how to do that:

1. In the sidebar of your cockpit, navigate to Marketing > Social sharing.
2. On the Manage social sharing card, deactivate the toggle Social sharing is enabled.
3. Select Save.

Social sharing has been disabled. Your visitors will no longer see any sharing options on product pages.

You can re-enable Social sharing at any time by activating the toggle and saving your changes.
