Link your social media profiles in the footer

You can link your profiles on social networks like Facebook and Instagram in the footer of your website. This way, you offer your visitors more ways to stay informed and to get in touch with you.

Depending on the footer layout you have selected, this is how the logos could be displayed:

How to link a profile

1. In the sidebar of your cockpit, navigate to Editor.
   The Editor opens.
2. In the bottom bar, select .
3. Open the tab .
4. Next to the section  Social Media, select .
5. Activate the respective checkbox of the social network you want to link.
   

   Caution

   By default, all checkboxes are activated and the respective logos of the social networks are displayed in your footer. As long as you do not enter a link to your profile, visitors will be forwarded to the home page of your website when selecting one of these logos.
6. Enter the link to the respective profile. The links have to begin with http:// or https://, for example https://www.example.com/username.

   Note

   For WhatsApp you need to add a wa.me link - like https://wa.me/phone number. Omit any additional 0 or + at the beginning of your phone number. For example, to connect the WhatsApp profile related to the phone number [phone], you will need to use https://wa.me/4915212345678.
7. Once you are done, select Save.

You have linked your social media profiles. The logos of the social networks with activated checkboxes are displayed in the footer of your website.

If visitors select a logo, the profile on the respective social network will be opened in a new tab.
