In the Editor’s bottom bar, you have several options to customize the overall appearance of your website. You can, for example, adjust your website’s header and footer area to your needs and adjust colors and fonts of your selected theme. The bottom bar is divided into four areas: Header area, Footer area, Other settings and Theme customizations.

Header area
In this area, you can choose a layout and menu type for your website’s header, add your logo, and display your unique selling points (USPs) and announcements in a bar at the top of your header.
- In the sidebar of your cockpit, navigate to Editor.
- Select
in the bottom bar.
- Select one of the following tabs:
- Header layout (refer to Change the header layout)
- Menu type (refer to Pick a menu type)
- Logo area (refer to Upload a logo)
- USP bar (refer to Add unique selling points to the header)
- Announcement bar (refer to Display an announcement bar in the header)
- Make your desired changes.
- When you're done, select Save.
The changes are immediately visible on your website.
Note
Any settings you make to the logo area and USP bar will be kept when you change the theme.Any text you have added to the Announcement bar will be kept when you change the theme, but your selected background color will no longer be applied. However, if you switch back to the previously selected theme, your settings for the announcement bar's background color will be applied to your website again.
Any settings you make to the header layout and menu type are only applied to the currently selected theme. If you change the theme, the selected header layout and menu type will no longer be applied to your website. However, if you switch back to the previously selected theme, your settings for the header layout and menu type will be applied to your website again.
Footer area
In this area, you can link your social media profiles, define which pages are shown in your footer menu, and decide which payment method and shipping carriers you would like to display in your footer.
- In the sidebar of your cockpit, navigate to Editor.
- Select
in the bottom bar.
- Select one of the following tabs:
- Footer menu (refer to Learn about footer pages and footer menu)
- Payment methods (refer to Add logos of payment methods to the footer)
- Shipping carriers (refer to Add logos of shipping carriers to the footer)
- Social Media (refer to Link your social media profiles in the footer)
- Make your desired changes.
- When you're done, select Save.
The changes are immediately visible on your website.

Any settings you make in this area will be kept when you change the theme.Other settings
In this area, you can upload a favicon, enable Google Tag Manager and edit the the cookie notice for your visitors.
- In the sidebar of your cockpit, navigate to Editor.
- Select
in the bottom bar.
- Select one of the following tabs:
- Cookie notice (refer to Inform visitors about the usage of cookies)
- Google Tag Manager (refer to Integrate Google Tag Manager)
- Favicon (refer to Add a favicon)
- Make your desired changes.
- When you're done, select Save.
The changes are immediately visible on your website.

Any settings you make in this area will be kept when you change the theme.Theme customizations
In this area, you can change the colors and fonts of your selected theme and add custom CSS code.
- In the sidebar of your cockpit, navigate to Editor.
- Select
in the bottom bar.
- Select one of the following tabs:
- Colors (refer to Change colors)
- Fonts (refer to Change fonts)
- Custom CSS (refer to Use CSS)
- Make your desired changes.
- When you're done, select Save.
The changes are visible on your website immediately.
