With customer groups, you can organize your customers into different groups, for example to offer them special discounts.

How to add a customer group
- In the sidebar of your cockpit, navigate to Customers → Customer groups.
- Select Add customer group.
- On the Basic details card, enter a unique name for the customer group.
- If you want to set a discount that applies to all products on your website, activate the Set a default discount checkbox and enter the discount percentage.

For further information on default discounts and other discount types, refer to Set customer group discounts. - On the Assign customers card, select the customers you want to assign to this customer group.
- Select Save.
You have added a costumer group and assigned customers to it.
How to assign customers to a customer group
- You can assign customers on the Assign customers card in the customer group's settings.
- Each customer can only be assigned to one customer group. If a customer is already in another group, remove them from that group first. Assigned customers are therefore not displayed on the Assign customers card.
- Any discounts you have set for the customer group will apply to all assigned customers.
- Customers cannot see whether they belong to a group and, if so, to which one.
- Once you have assigned customers to a group, this will also be displayed in the Customer group column in the Customer overview and on the Customer details card in the customer settings.
How to remove customers from a customer group
- In the sidebar of your cockpit, navigate to Customers → Customer groups.
- In the Customer group overview, select the name of the customer group you want to edit.
The Edit customer group page opens. - On the Customers in this group card, select
in the column of the customer(s) you want to remove.
- Select Save.
You have removed the customer(s) from the customer group. Any customer group discounts no longer apply to them.
How to delete a customer group
- In the sidebar of your cockpit, navigate to Customers → Customer groups.
- In the Customer group overview, select the name of the customer group you want to delete.
The Edit customer group page opens. - At the bottom of the page, select Delete customer group.
A pop-up opens.Warning
The customer group and all associated discounts will be lost and cannot be restored. All customers that are assigned to the customer group will no longer belong to any customer group. - Confirm by selecting Delete customer group again.
You have deleted the customer group.
