Add additional product descriptions

By adding additional product descriptions, you can provide your customers with additional product information, such as care instructions or ingredients. Instead of having all the information in the main description of the product, you can now display all relevant information in a well-structured way. Your visitors only need to select the respective heading to open the description. This way they can view one topic at a time.

How to add an additional product description

1. In the sidebar of your cockpit, select Products.
2. From the Product overview select the product to which you'd like to add an additional product description or add a new product.
3. Scroll down to the Additional product descriptions card.
4. Select + Add description. You're prompted to the view Add product description.
5. Enter your desired headline for the product description in the field Headline. For example, "Ingredients" or "Materials".
6. Enter the text for the product description in the field Text. You have several formatting options to further customize your description like formatting text bold, adding a numbered or unnumbered list, and tables.
7. Once you are done, select Add description.
8. If you want to add further descriptions, repeat the steps 4-7.
   To rearrange the descriptions select for the respective element and then drag and drop it to the desired position.

If you want to edit the additional description again, select for the respective element. The view Edit product description appears. Repeat steps 5 and 6 to edit your description. Save your changes by selecting Apply.

How to delete an additional product description

1. In the sidebar of your cockpit, select Products.
2. From the Product overview, select the product for which you'd like to make changes regarding the additional product descriptions.
3. Scroll down to the Additional product descriptions card.
4. Select for the additional product description you want to delete. You're prompted to the view Edit product description.
5. Select Delete.
6. Confirm your decision by selecting Delete description.
   If you want to delete more product descriptions, repeat steps 4-6.

The number of product descriptions has been reduced.
