You can add two kinds of pages to your website:
- Content pages can be used to display all kinds of content, such as images, videos, icons or selected products.
- Category pages are used to showcase products and to display all published products of a selected category.

Add a content page
- In the sidebar of your cockpit, navigate to Editor.
- In the sidebar of the Editor, under Pages, select Add page.
The Add page view opens. - In the field Page name enter a name for the new page.
- Under Category, keep the checkbox Display products unchecked.
- Under Visible on website, keep it as Yes.
Note
The page will not be visible to your visitors until you set your website to live. For further information, refer to Edit the visibility of pages. - Under Page location, select if you want the page to appear in the main menu in your header or in the footer. For further information about the footer, refer to Learn about footer pages and your footer menu.
- If you have selected Main menu as a location for your page, you will see the dropdown menu Choose parent page. Select a parent page to nest the new page under.
Note
If you select Top level, the page will be displayed directly in the main menu at the top of your website. If you select another page, the new page will be displayed as a subpage of it and will be accessible to your visitors via a dropdown menu. For further information, refer to Add a subpage to a page in the main menu. - Select Save.
You have successfully added a content page. You can now add content elements to fill your page with content.
Add a category page
- In the sidebar of your cockpit, navigate to Editor.
- In the sidebar of the Editor, under Pages, select Add page.
The Add page view opens. - In the field Page name enter a name for the new page.
- Under Category, activate the checkbox Display products.
The dropdown menu Select category appears. - Select the category with the products you want to display on the page. For further information, refer to Use categories to display products.
- Under Visible on website, keep it as Yes.

For further information, refer to Edit the visibility of pages. - Under Page location, select if you want the page to appear in the main menu that is displayed in your header or in the footer. You have successfully added a category page. It displays all published products of the category you have selected and you can now see and edit it in the preview of your page in the Editor. Hover over the category content element and select to change the category.
You can also add additional content elements to the page.
Edit a page
- In the sidebar of your cockpit, navigate to Editor.
- In the sidebar of the Editor, under Pages, you can see a list of your pages. Select next to the name of the page that you want to edit.
- Make the desired changes to the page name, page visibility or page location. For further information, refer to Edit the visibility of pages, Learn about footer pages and your footer menu or the section after page creation in Add a subpage to a page in the main menu.

Additionally, you can also edit the page’s search engine entry. For further information on how to improve your search engine results, refer to Optimize the search results for your website. - Select Save.
