Add unique selling points (USPs) to the header

You can display your biggest unique selling points (USPs) in a bar in your header. This way you can inform your vistors about the unique benefits of your business like free shipping, that products can be returned for 90 days, or that you offer phone support.

You can also add a link to each USP, which gives you even more options to make use of the USP bar. For example:

• Links to your social media profiles (Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn…)
• Business email address with a link to your contact page
• Address of your local store with a link to Google Maps

If you want to show announcements to your visitors, such as discounts you are currently offering or information about new products, you can use the Announcement bar (see tab ) instead of the USP bar. For further information, refer to Display an announcement bar in the header.

How to display USPs in the header

1. In the sidebar of your cockpit, navigate to Editor.
2. In the bottom bar, select .
3. Open the tab.
4. Add a USP by activating one of the checkboxes.
5. Enter the text that should be displayed for this USP.
6. If you want to change the settings for this USP, select Edit.
   A pop-up opens.
7. Select an icon or activate the Hide icon toggle.

8. Optionally, add a link to your USP. For further information, refer to Add links to elements on your website.

   • To link to an internal product or page, select Pages or Products. You can then select the item you want to link to.
     Alternatively, you can also enter search terms in the Enter link or search page/product field.

     Note

     You can only link to published products. If a product is still in draft state, you’ll need to publish it first before you can link to it.

   • To link to an external website, enter URL in the Enter link or search page/product field.

   Confirm by selecting to the right of the link field.

9. If you have added a link, you can optionally activate the Open link in new tab checkbox. This can be helpful when linking to an external page.
10. If you want to add more USPs, repeat steps 4-9.
11. Optionally, pick a different background color by selecting the color square. For further information, refer to Learn more about the color settings.
12. Once you are done, select Save.

You have added USPs to the header of your website.

To remove a USP again, deselect the respective checkbox. If you remove all USPs, the USP bar will be removed completely. You can re-add the USP bar at any time by selecting one or more checkboxes again.
